Music affects the mind, body and spirit, and it can be used to effect healthful changes. More and more doctors are using music as part of their treatments to help patients stay healthy and recover more quickly from illness. Music affects everyone differently, however each one of us has a music mind. A music mind is simply the way music affects us due to certain things we have going on in our minds. Music minds indicate the level of memory we have do to a song we heard on the radio and so on. We all have a music mind in the sense that music affects us all. It can help evoke a certain emotion, cure a case of the blues, and even have some medical effects on illness.

Some heart patients have felt music affects from listening to 30 minutes of classical music as they did from taking 10 mg of the anti anxiety medication, Valium. This study on the music mind and music affects was done at a Baltimore hospital. Migraine sufferers were trained to use music, imagery and relaxation techniques to reduce the frequency, intensity and duration of their headaches in a California State University study of the music mind and music affects. Music melodies and lyrics stay in your mind like a second language. Have you ever noticed how you know the words to every song you are listening to on the radio during a card ride. Your music mind absorbs all of these melodies and lyrics allowing you to sing along whenever you want!

Energy Healing

Energy healing promotes healing by enhancing energy flow and correcting disturbances in the human energy field or aura surrounds the body. Improving the flow of energy supports the self-healing capacity of the body. Since everything is energy, all healing ultimately involves energy. Sound Healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequency to the body with the intent of re-establishing health and harmonic balance. It has been said that the ears are one of the most important sense organs. The ears control balance and are the conductor of the entire nervous system. The best use for sound as applied to healing comes from a Taoist practice called the Six Healing Sounds, or also known as the Six Soundless Sounds for Nourishing Life. Each sound frequency is associated with a particular body organ. You can practice all six sounds in order or only practice a specific sound frequency to treat specific conditions in the body . . . If you practice all six healing sounds you should practice them in the following order: Xu, Ke, Hu, Si, Chui, and Xi. Xu represents the liver, Ke, represents the heart and small intestine, Hu represents the stomach and spleen, Si represents the lungs and large intestine, Chui represents the kidneys and bladder and Xi represents the triple burner.
